...Academic Programs

  • The programs of study emphasize strong conceptual understanding and practical skills in their area of specialization. A sound foundation in the basic sciences, coupled with courses in the Humanities and Social Sciences provide the necessary broad knowledge base to enable the student to succeed in the outside world.

  •  Summer and winter internship is an integral part of the overall development of the student, enabling development of practical skills in real life situations.

  • Postgraduate programs of study are being offered at both JUIT Waknaghat and JIIT Noida.

  •  Education Methodology comprises multiple learning stages, specifically Lectures, Self-study, Tutorials, Lab Work, Assignments, Projects, Research, Internships, Guest Lectures, Seminars, Continuous Evaluation, Examinations, and Personality Development Programs.

Guest Lectures & Seminars

Eminent professionals from India and abroad drawn from academic institutions, research laboratories, and industry are invited for delivering lectures and seminars and for interactions with the Institute fraternity.

Latest Curricula

Students are continuously exposed to the latest tools and techniques in their domains. Courses offered are flexible and are updated continuously.

Group & Self-Learning

This is a very effective means towards preparing professionals who are proactive in seeking and acquiring knowledge limited not only to the classroom. Free exchange of ideas among the group members through discussions and presentations not only leverages on time and effort but also enhances teaching and communication skills. Aptitude is developed for self-study and use of web resources and data banks to foster life long learning.

Evaluation Procedure

The three Institutes follow the continuous evaluation approach. Multiple inputs are obtained for evaluation of student performance through session assignments, quizzes, weekly tests, minor and major tests at the middle and end of each semester, and a holistic view is taken of all these inputs for awarding the final grade. A dynamic system of weightage for the various academic components like project activity, presentations, group behavior, and leadership qualities has been put in place.

Credit based academic programs offer flexibility to progress at one’s own pace. A minimum level of performance is necessary for satisfactory progress, with english being the medium of instruction.
